Description
This commemorative Forever stamp honors the 250th anniversary of the United States Navy, established on October 13, 1775 by the Second Continental Congress. From its Revolutionary War origins to today, the Navy has played a vital role in safeguarding America’s freedom and projecting strength across the seas.
The design features the Navy’s emblem set against a clean white background, accompanied by the inscriptions “250 YEARS OF SERVICE,” “SINCE 1775,” and “FOREVER/USA.” Created by USPS art director Antonio Alcalá, the stamp reflects the Navy’s enduring legacy of honor, courage, and commitment.
As a Forever stamp, it will always hold the value of the current First-Class Mail 1-ounce rate, making it both a practical postage option and a meaningful collectible.
